I personally don't like this block (it's basically the small calendar block with flash clock above it) but if anyone uses it I fixed some undefined vars and XHTML invalidities in it today which were virtually unnoticeable unless you

- used the Dragonfly theme in which it was way distorted (could be more themes too, I don't know)
- have an XHTML validator plugin on your browser and/or use something else to validate your site like I do
- have debugging on and obsessively look for notices like I do
