Post Default image

Quick question - I can't remember how to set the default image for when one is not uploaded. Where is that setting? I am just getting a 'no image' image...

Post Re: Default image

You put them in images folder. See CHANGES.txt under BLANK IMAGE.

Post Re: Default image

I have a section called 'Home & Away Dining Society'. I have placed an image as imageholder.png in a folder here - themes/reDesign3/images/pro_news/homeawaydiningsociety but when I submit an article within that section it shows the noimage image not the one I want. Do I need to leave the & symbol in?

Post Re: Default image

No the link to the image works fine - just tried creating it manually and they both displayed OK.

You must have the the 'Show Default Image if no image' settings in Config under Image Settings turned off. (It defaults to On.)

Post Re: Default image

OK, so I've changed it so 'Show Default Image if no image' is now set to 'No' and now the 'No image' image is gone. But I want it to display the image in the themes/reDesign3/images/pro_news/homeawaydiningsociety folder don't I?

Post Re: Default image

OK. Turn the Config setting back on. Then do not add & to the filename but add amp in it's place.

(The & becomes & and then the & and the ; get stripped.)

Post Re: Default image

You still need something for the Local News Section. If you don't use Headlines on this section, then you can simply remove the imageholder.png to avoid any graphic display when no specific image has been assigned. Just it makes the Headlines dis[play look a little naff.
