The Submit Article screen should be familiar to anyone who has posted to News, or to the Forums.

The image field at the foot of the screen behaves similar to Coppermine Photo Gallery upload. The thumbnail and the link to the original are active in the Preview, so that they can be viewed and checked, along with any embedded links. Once visible as an image following a Preview, a Delete Image? checkbox appears to allow for removal and/or replacement of the image. GIF, jpeg and PNG are supported formats.

A Preview of the article being created is available at any time by clinking the Preview Article button. The Submit Article button will not be available until at least the Title, Category and Intro files have been created/selected, and the article has been Previewed at least once.

The display of the Allow Comments and Smilies Panel may have been turned off by the site Administrator (in Pro_News Config).

Multilingual support is present in Pro_News if enabled in the underlying Dragonfly CMS system for this site.

Articles submitted through the user Submit Article screen will usually require approval by the site Administrator before the article is visible to any general user - including the submitter - so a Preview is essential.
