The Submit Article screen should be familiar to anyone who has posted to News, or to the Forums.

The image field at the foot of the screen behaves similar to Coppermine Photo Gallery upload. The thumbnail and the link to the original are active in the Preview, so that they can be viewed and checked, along with any embedded links. Once visible as an image following a Preview, a Delete Image? checkbox appears to allow for removal and/or replacement of the image. GIF, jpeg and PNG are supported formats.

A Preview of the article being created is available at any time by clinking the Preview Article button. The Submit Article button will not be available until at least the Title, Category and Intro files have been created/selected, and the article has been Previewed at least once.   mer ...

A Submit Article link exists on the Pro_News page reachable from the Pro_news entry on the Main Menu.

By default any user can submit an article, with image, to be submit for review and approval by the Administrator.

Additionally, and by Section, a group (other than All or Registered Members) can be granted submit rights without needing approval, ie. article is immediately available to view. Such members of this group will also be able to edit their own published articles, but not those of other members of their group.   mer ...
